Sussex Racing Club Horses
Welcome to our syndicates page. This is where you will be able to come and find out about all of the horses that we will have available to buy shares in as the club progresses. We have several ambitions with the syndicate side of things, with the main objective making racehorse ownership/experience a much better offering than that what is largely available. We also plan to have our shares available right down to 1% shares, meaning that our club members will have the chance to experience genuine ownership, with real benefits, prize-money and the proceeds of any sales.

As the club grows, our buying will too. We will initially look to purchase from the horses in training sales. We use a unique blend of data-analytics and physical assessment to source horses that have a huge upside for potential improvement and that are still early-on in their careers. Once we have a nice flow of horses in training, we will also be looking to purchase yearlings. We strongly believe that there is real value to be had in the yearling market using our unique approach.

Obviously we are based in Sussex but we plan to have horses all around the country and they will also run wherever suits them best at the time. We will of course have plenty of runners at the Sussex tracks too as our club grows, and we expect you to be out in force cheering on the Sussex Racing Club colours!

Syndicate Example
​Here is a very rough example of the costing of a syndicate for a horse who's total costs for the following was £10,000. Cost of purchase, sales fees, agents fees, vet fees, registrations and transport fees.

10% Share - £1000 upfront and £350 per month training & fees.
5% Share - £500 upfront and £180 per month training & fees.
2.5% Share - £250 upfront and £90 per month training & fees.
1% Share - £100 upfront and £45 per month training & fees.

Obviously, these figures purely rely on the cost of the purchase, but these figures will give you a rough idea. Please bear in mind you WILL OWN YOUR ACTUAL SHARE. You will win your share of prize-money and your portion of any sales.
