The plan for Sussex Racing is to bring together a community of racing fans primarily based in the south, but from all over the UK. We will enjoy great days out at the races and will have yard visits with our local trainers as well as some of the best yards in the country, track walks, premium race days for our members, Christmas events, competitions and much more.

Great days out at Plumpton, Goodwood, Brighton, Fontwell, Lingfield and many other UK tracks all designed for Sussex Racing Club members.

Our main membership unlocks a host of exclusive benefits, including priority access to all our events, early opportunities to join horse syndicates, and a premium experience within our vibrant community—all for free throughout 2025. Wherever possible our members events will be discounted to offer incredible value on being a member.

Meet the Team

Pleased to welcome you to the team at The Sussex Racing Club

Ambassador and Bloodstock Agent

Eliza Poulton

Eliza has been involved in Racing from a very young age. Firstly working for her dad who was a successful trainer before embarking on her own career working in some of the biggest yards in the country.

Eliza is now assistant trainer to her mother Camilla and they train on the wonderful Sussex Downs. Eliza has been responsible for some real value purchases over the years that have bought their team lots of success.

Eliza is also a big part of MJG Bloodstock and will be heavily involved in The Sussex Racing Club purchases and events.

Racing & Events Manager

Mark Grantham

Mark has been involved in Racing for the best part of 20 years. Predominantly as a racing broadcaster and commentator but also working on racing analytics and bloodstock.

Mark has a long history of working in the entertainment business and will be heavily involved in the production of all our Sussex Racing Club events.

Mark will also be responsible for the day-to-day running of the club and our syndicates.

A lovely mix of jockeys, ex-jockeys, trainers, TV personalities and indeed guest from around the sporting world.
